Over the past 10 years the GES Healthcare Team has implemented over $30,000,000 in healthcare construction projects. We performed services for 90% of the hospitals and 55% of the nursing homes in Western New York.
Highlights include turnkey installation of:
• over 45,000 fluorescent high efficiency lamps and 20,000 ballasts
• over 1,000 LED Exit signs
• over 5000 kilowatts of back-up and prime power generation
• replaced or upgraded 20 heating and domestic hot water water plants
• replaced or upgraded 100 chilled water plants
• installed 30 computerized energy management systems
• acquired over $2,000,000 from NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority) for energy projects

The Gerster Energy Services Healthcare Team has dedicated individuals with the background and experience necessary to focus on solving the unique problems and requirements facing the healthcare community.

• American Society for Healthcare Engineering
• New York State Healthcare Facilities Association
• Association of Energy Engineers

• ASHE Healthcare Construction Certificate
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
• Professional Engineer (PE)
What we do:
• Step 1 Meet with facility owners to understand problems, goals, and priorities.
• Step 2 Work with facility operators to analyze intricate systems, environmental and energy operations.
• Step 3 Utilize internal and external expertise to develop a specific plan based on owners stated priorities. The plan includes recommendations with options that include cash flow, savings, costs, and funding sources.
• Step 4 Implement plan at owner’s pace.
